Cancellation Policy

We hope that once you have made a booking with us you will be able to join us as planned but we understand that sometimes things change and injuries happen. In that case we work to these conditions; 

All Bespoke, Skills, Explorer & Cape Wrath Ultra preparation course

Payment 

Full payment is taken at the time of booking via the online booking system at SiEntries, or by bank transfer in the case of bespoke courses. 

This payment includes a non-refundable £10 deposit.

Cancellation

If you cancel your booking more than 6 weeks before your course start date we will refund the full cost of your course minus the £10 deposit.

If you cancel between 6 and 2 weeks of your course start date we will refund 50% of the remaining course balance once the deposit is taken. 

If you cancel less than 2 weeks from the start of your course we are unable to offer any refund.

Transfers

At any point you may transfer the booking to another suitable person if you cannot attend yourself. Contact us to arrange the transfer. 

Cape Wrath Ultra recce weekends

Payment 

A non refundable £100 deposit is required to secure your place. Payable by bank transfer.

Full payment is due 6 weeks before the course.  

Cancellation

If you cancel your booking we are unable to offer any refund of your deposit. 

We recommend taking out your own cancellation insurance. 

Transfers

At any point you may transfer the booking to another suitable person if you cannot attend yourself. Contact us to arrange the transfer.

Cancellation by Trail Running Scotland

We will endeavour to ensure that your course runs as planned. However, we reserve the right to modify the content of a course due to prevailing weather or other conditions and will always try to offer a suitable alternative itinerary or location. 

In the unlikely event of cancellation by Trail Running Scotland a full refund will be offered. 

If Trail Running Scotland is prevented (directly or indirectly) from performing any of its obligations under this agreement by reasons of "act of god", i.e adverse weather conditions, strikes, fire, breakdowns, interruption of transport, government or political actions, acts of war or terrorism, acts or missions of a third party or for any other cause whatsoever outside Trail Running Scotland's reasonable control, Trail Running Scotland will be under no liability.
